Five Ways To Wear Chambray

Friday, June 12, 2015

Hey everyone! Brooklyn here. I'm excited to share my first solo blog post with you. I chose to do it on 5 ways you can wear a chambray shirt. I LOVE going in my closet and pairing different pieces together to create new outfits that I never even thought of when I bought the items. It's like finding new treasures in your old wardrobe. That is precisely what I did here in these photos. :) Hope you can glean some inspiration and maybe some creative motivation. :) Enjoy!!!

I hadn't worn this skirt in ages, but when I decided on using chambray for this post it just naturally went together and will now be one of my go to outfits. Bonus: The skirt is jersey, so no wrinkles!

I love a good maxi dress. Easy to throw on with no ironing, and also comfortable and cool as the day is long. The chambray shirt just added the finishing touch and brought it down to casual, everyday wear. You will probably figure out as you read this post that I definitely like easy and no-fuss clothing.

Layering is fun and can create something totally new that was maybe a bit bland on its own. But probably my favorite piece here is the bag. I totally borrowed this from my Mom! :)

Tshirt: Kohls, available in store | Skirt: Style & Co | Shoes: Keds

I love graphic tees! They are comfy and can be classed up a bit by adding the chambray. I would wear this look to run to the grocery or to soundcheck on the road.

Loved putting this one together! I must admit, I felt a mite Pinteresty...if thats a word? HA! :) You may see this as one of my off night outfits at NQC this year.

    1. The skirt unfortunately was purchased at Gabriel Brother's (which is basically a store that gets overstock from department stores) and isnt available for purchase any more. - C Fam Sisters

    1. It's a store that gets overstock from department stores.. kinda similar to TJ Maxx or Marshall's but much cheaper. Probably an average of 50% cheaper... they only have a few locations. Feel free to check their website to see it they have any in your area! - C Fam Sisters
