Spring Decor Inspiration By Courtney

Hey Ladies! :) Courtney here! This past week I decided to go Spring crazy in my house... I still had a winter wreath and snowflake lanterns on the mantle, and there is nothing like out of season decor in your house to just make it feel "BLAH!"... Since the weather has really started to warm up around here I wanted to give my house a Spring refresh! I hadn't bought new pillows or Spring decor for a few years... So, I went on a bargain hunt at all of my favorite home decor stores! There's nothing like a nice pop of color in your house for Spring and Summer. It instantly brightens my mood! Also, my sweet mother-in-law bought this beautiful plant for my birthday last week from Home Goods. It's always a plus when it's artificial so you don't have to water it! ;)

Next on our list of renovations is to completely overhaul this fireplace. I want to do a new mantle, new tile, and possibly wood detailing above the fireplace. In the meantime, I have decorated it to help it feel more cozy. :)

A lot of people ask me about the dining table my husband built me! I absolutely love it, and it is by far the most sturdy piece of furniture we have in the house. My sister, Brooklyn, and brother in law, William, surprised me for my birthday last week with these gorgeous floating shelves! I have been dreaming of floating shelves to match my dining table for about two years now! ;) Such a thoughtful gift! All the dishes were either already owned or purchased at Target and Kroger. :)
